Comments:	I have been training with Ray for getting my sport pilot license, and I have nothing but the highest level of praise for him, both as an individual and as an instructor. Ray is the ultimate professional, a highly skilled pilot, and a great teacher. He has the wonderful ability to teach his skills and transfer his knowledge to students in a way that is easy to understand and follow, and he explains the reasoning behind actions in such a way that allows a deep understanding which generally cannot be gained by just reading a textbook. He is a very patient instructor, always gives constructive feedback, and allows students to take control of the plane and do the actual flying and learn all the required skills/maneuvers with minimum interference, while always keeping safety as a number one priority. I would highly recommend any one who’s interested in flying ultralights to take a lesson from Ray...you'll come back for more. Many thanks Ray! Mehrdad

Ray was safe, fun to be with, clear, patient, and mello (if you fly with him you'll understand that the last part is a joke). If you're thinking about getting a Sport Pilot Certificate, I would highly recommend Ray.

Comments:	My sister, Laura Friedl, sent me an email about your field. She's right, our daddy would have loved it there. Had she moved to Roseville sooner, I'm sure he would have been a regular around there. He was a gifted man and always had the passion of flying. I don't know if my sister told you, but he bought the metal frame of the fuselage of his L-2 and built the entire airplane right down to the controls...I don't know if I would have the confidence to put myself in something up in the air that I built!!!! Everything was airplanes to him...he subscribed to several flying or radio control flying magazines and my mother would get so mad because there was always a half-dressed woman holding the airplane. My dad told her he didn't even realize there was a woman on the cover!!!! Hope to come by and see your field someday. Comments:	Not a terrible web page but could be better. Did not fit on my 17" monitor. Had to scroll to read- annoying. Menu items on left too verbose, squeezes off the text on the right unless you scroll, which nobody likes. Tried msg. system. Very cumbersome. I feel you won't get my transmission it was so clumsy. It would not let me read the "Corkboard" at any time. Cannot find msgs. left previously by others- the very thing I wanted to see. The msg. system would not let me use the BACK key. Having all fields required is irksome and intrusive, from a user point-of-view. Too, too many choices. Too many slow loading photos (granted I use cheapass Lanset for my ISP). Loved the Weather Conditions page, added it to my favorites. Summary: Cut out about 50-75%. Its not bad, just cut out the flab and it will fly. Maybe a shade less pretention. Keep it folksy. Comments:	Learned of your fly-in by talking to the gentleman that has his Falcon in your big hangar. I am a 1000+ hour pvt. pilot with a C-172 at Mather. I have always wanted to fly ultralights and have had one demo flight I took at Lodi a few years ago. I also took a flight in a powered parachute and both were two of the biggest thrills of my life, just after my two sons 5 and 7 were born(I'm 55!)and getting married for the first time. Not enough power to take off so I had to run it down the strip and jump it up and then try to regain flying speed. It was a very unstable machine. The rotor hub assembly is the single point of failure.
